Catching up

Summer is flying by and life is a blur. At the moment we have three Chinese high school students here as well as our gang. A week ago we had two Chinese middle school students, two Korean teachers and our gang. And next week, we will be hiking Mt. Saint Helens with our gang and friends.

All this fun and excitement and our little Lei Lei goes along with it as if he has always been a part of our gang. He is amazing! I marvel at this little guy and his resiliency and sweetness. I can hardly believe our good fortune in God's choice for our family. He has been a complete joy from the first day. He wakes up with a huge grin and goes about his day with happiness and excitement and silliness. I am honored to have been chosen to be his mama!! I love, love, love my family!

A fabulous visit from Grandma and Grandpa and Pete, Erica and Max took us to the beach for the weekend.
